Flashbacks:

Show at Brouwershof Stasegem

Aloha Stasegem! Small village, lots of energy. First on was Saft'n with his solo project. O yeah, this guy is selfmade and kicking everybodies ass just by himself: you just have to adore him.The Bloody Finger were next. Nice sound and a West-flanders Donna chick included. Jammie!

We played afterwards - thanx to the Go Hards - and had good fun doing our show here although Freaky was ill and mixing motiliums with beers ... hmm ... We wrote a song about our Scottish tour called Burried alive .. those who were with us will enjoy it and hopefully so will you.

The Go Hards finished the evening with a good dose of rock and roll chaos and wetsuits. You guys are wild! Next time more naked man jumping around but please no more naked crowdsurfing butts cause my nightmares will freak me out

Show at Brussels Magazin 4: Girls in Front

We were invited by Alice from Mad in UK to play this female punk festival ... And what a party it was! The Brussels crowd was really cool: dancing from dusk till dawn. So much fun to play for you guys .... I remember this guy shouting out loud 'je vous aimes' - that was so funny ... well Brussels we loved you too! Hope to be back soon.

Also, it was the first time we could watch Pogomarto and Attentat sonore live and we enjoyed it a lot! Jump in your cars and drive up to France to see them play 'cause they really rock.

Show at Baasrode JH Fluks

Fluks was celebrating its 11 th Birthday by having a party with 4 bands. First on was Red Baron, a female fronted alternative rockband. They sure got the crowd going with their unique sound. Afterwards we hit the floor. Got our gear in place and tune as fast as we could and started with a fast and loud intro. We had fun and it seemed like some people were having fun too lookin at the crowd! Thx for supporting us. Fab and Anja from WR3 and our crazy friend Christina showed up. Thank you guys ... also nearly pissed our pants with Christina's 'ik moet pipi doen' stories. Later on, we enjoyed the show from Deadbeat and The Horny Horses. Before hitting the sack we drove to Gent City to have some late nigh - early morning Belgian fries!

Show at Moerkerke ... MC Freeriders Saloon

Thx to Vliege and Geuze we had the chance to play for the fuckin' third time at the bikers meeting. First the bands who participated at the stage rally hit the stage. Later on we had a show at the saloon. Our friends of Warrisk won the stage rally (Congratulationes - You are the Best) and stayed to watch our show - we appreciate it guys!

We had fun but played our usual wrong chords and stuff .. but what the f*** - we had fun and hopefully so did you!

Thx to Geuze & Vliege ... See you on the road buddies...

Flasback Deluxe: Scotland

Hello dolls

A few months ago we met Christina .. a scottish woman living for music and fun who convinced us to go to Scotland and tour with some local bands ...

So ... we went .... and about everybody who could let us down, did let us down .... but we had a great adventure anyway ... We had so much trouble over there ..if we would write it down nobody would believe.

But hey, we are still around and our harts are still beating at the same punkrock rythme.

So check out our Scottish adventure right here!

Flashback: JH Dino

February 9th: Our friend BEKI - the infamous bass player of "the Sink Shitters" - asked us to play his home town Lovendegem. Rumours go he's of to New Zealand to molest some sheep (but that's just a rumour...?).

So we had a Beki-farewell party with the following ingredients:

- friends

- drinks

- laughs

- and of course some great punk rock tunes by the Lissewege punx from Working Class & The Hellies

Beki if you are reading this on the other side of our planet: take care and have fun!

XoXo

Flashback ... Oosterzele: Scampi's birthday Party

When you're on the road, in a van, heading for a gig, what song would you like to hear on the radio ? In our humble opinion there are not many correct answers to this question ... we got treated with the RAMONES and BLITZKRIEG BOP ... so we were allready in a good mood even before we entered the youthclub in Oosterzele.

The guys from BLESS THIS MESS allready hit their first notes. If I'm not mistaken they got themselves a new guitar player which suits them fine. Tight superfast anarcho punksongs were blasting through the amplifiers. They ended their set with their very catchy song 'Fockcops'.

We had a very long summer- & fall- break due to injuries, but now it was time to hit the gas ... and we did. The crowd seemed to like our performance ... and thanx to Pat we are finally on YOU TUBE: just fill in THE HELLIES in the search bar and you'll get 4 topclass video's: Bad Day, Burried Alive, Evil Hugo, Et Moi & Let's have a party. Go check'em! Go!

Talking about line-up changes. WR3 had to replace quite a few members ... but wow ... they came out strong. The new skilled youngsters played the WR3 classics alongside fellow brothers Fab and Wim: 'Thank you Mr President', their version of 'Love will tear us apart' and many more ... Great set!

Guys were looking forward to the next 21st century party, wherever that may take place ....

PUNKROCK!

Daf-Freaky-Annie Hellie
